TEZU, Jul 30: The 132 KV Grid Line after 17 days of breakdown is expected to be restored within a day or two, informed a source from Power Department, Tezu.
“Installation work and effort in stringing of conductors on High Tension Tower are over and within a day or two uninterrupted power supply would be restored," the source added.
Since July 13, there has been no electricity in entire Lohit, Namsai, Dibang and Lower Dibang Valley districts.
It needs to be noted here that the 132 KV Transmission line of Lohit, Namsai, Dibang and Lower Dibang Valley district were completely hit following collapse of High Tension Tower No. 43 of the 132 KV Line at Babuk village on July 16 in between Pasighat and Pangin triggered by heavy landslides.
