Itanagar, Mar 20: Multiple missed scoring chances caused team Arunachal Pradesh a 1-2 defeat against host Nagaland in their second group stage match of the 3rd Northeast Olympic Games 2024 played today.
The only consolation goal for Arunachal was scored by Beron Karap in the 68th minute. Host Nagaland has qualified for the Semis with two wins in the league round.
Meanwhile, Arunachal will face Tripura  in their last Group Stage match for the qualification to the semifinals round at 11 AM on Thursday.
Both teams have 3 points after one win for each in two matches.
