PASIGHAT, Sep 3: In a fire accident that broke out at around 4 PM on Monday at Paglek, here at Pasighat, 3 houses were completely gutted down, while 3 other houses were partially damaged
When asked, District Disaster Management Officer, G. Tsumo informed that, as per the official report the fire broke out at around 4 PM which was later doused by the team of Fire Tender who arrived on time and stopped the fire from further spreading to other houses.
Former MLA and senior Congress leader, Bosiram Siram who visited the affected and extended held from his personal end appealed the district administration to disburse the immediate relief at the earliest possible so that, the victims could get some relief.
Meanwhile, local student union, All Bogong Students’ Union also donated household items as relief. It also appealed the District Administration to release the ex gratia payment to the victims at the earliest.
