ITANAGAR, Apr 22:In an unfortunate incident, an accident at Iduli in Lower Dibang district of Arunachal Pradesh has cost the lives of 3 jawans while one was left critically injured. As per reports coming in from the Pratidin Times, a vehicle of the Indian Army fell off the road and landed in Kundil River injuring four of the jawans and killing three. They were en route for a CI operation along the border area.
Dead bodies of two jawans out of the three have been found but search for the third is still on. The injured have been admitted to Chapakhowa First Referral Unit (FRU).
The accident occurred in the wee hours of Saturday. A unit of 18 members was on an operation from Sadiya to Iduli of Arunachal Pradesh. The unit belonged to the Territorial Army (TA) of the Madras Regiment. The Indian army has refused to disclose names of the deceased
