ITANAGAR, Apr 29: A total of 27 state transpoA total of 27 state transport buses have been engaged by the government to transport those stranded in the capital Itanagar back to their home districts in phase-wise.
These buses will be available in two spots in state capital ie. Ganga Clock tower and ISBT, Lekhi.  The buses at Clock tower will depart around 6:00 while from Interstate Bus terminal Nirjuli, the buses will leave at around 6:30 am. 
On returning, these buses will bring back those people stranded in districts to the state capital.
Informing this, Secretary, Disaster Management and Transport,  Dani Salu said that the state government has decided to evacuate stranded people in the state capital in a phase-wise manner. 
 "On a bus, with a total seat capacity of 30 only 15 will be allowed to sit while maintaining a social distancing order issued by MHA, " said Salu.
He said that Station Superintendent, Itanagar Tuter Dulom, and Station Superintendent, ISBT Naharlagun Gyamar Tadap are coordinating the mass evacuation process.
Salu requested everyone to contact both officials regarding any confusion or questions related to the evacuation plan.
He further appealed those who had applied for e-passes online to report to their alloted bus point by 5:30 am. 
He asked everyone to cooperate with the arrangement made by the state government to ensure a smooth evacuation process. 
The buses would transport stranded people to districts namely  Tawang, Bomdila, Pakke-Kessang, Kra-Daadi, Seppa, Kurung Kumey, Lower Subansiri, Daporijo and Kamle only.
"People of eastern Arunachal also need not worry as discussion is underway for their evacuation too,"Salu assured.
He said that a wearing mask has been made mandatory for passengers and buses will be disinfected before departure.
