ITANAGAR, Sep 20: Arunachal Pradesh could not get past Odisha and lost in the last quarter final match of the ongoing 25th Senior Women’s National Football Championship 2019 played today at CHF ground, Pasighat by 0-5. Playing its maiden knockout stage match of the championship, host Arunachal conceded three goals in the first half. Despite many attempts they could not make a comeback in the game.
Earlier, defending champions Manipur thrashed Jharkhand by 15-2 score line in the third quarter final to enter the semis . N. Bala Devi scored astonishing 10 goals alone in the match. Four goals came from H. Daya Devi. While, I. Prameshwori Devi scored one. Two consolation goals for Jharkhand came from Sangita (82’) and Neel Kusum (21’).
