ITANAGAR, Apr 4: As per the ‘Bulletin on Covid-19 for Arunachal Pradesh’ released on Saturday, the state has only one positive case so far.
Joint Secretary Mamata Riba, who has been appointment as the OSD in Health Department for Covid-19 and Nodal Officer for procurement and surveillance on Saturday chaired a meeting to take stock of the day to day activities of the Health Department regarding Covid-19. 9 samples connected to Nizamuddin Tablighi Markaz and 16 from Namsai who were also connected to the above visit have all tested negative.
Meanwhile, in view of the lone positive case detected in Lohit, Medo camp who attended the Markaz religious congregation of Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin in Delhi, an appeal has been issued that if there is anyone in Arunachal Pradesh who attended the said event, should immediately contact the Health Department at 0360-2350407/104 for the sake of individual as well as public interest.
