AALO, Sep 23:  The 1st ever Zila Level Indigenous Sports competition was held at the GHSS playground today. District Sports Officer, Tumto Loyi welcomed all the youth participants from Zila Segment of West Siang District and briefed about the scope of games & sports in various fields.
Attending the opening ceremony as chief guest, Deputy Commissioner, Penga Tato  informed about the 10 per cent job reservation for sportspersons in government jobs. He advised the youth not to use drugs and tobacco which harms the health and also encouraged them to participate in sports events. 
The Indigenous sports competition was funded by Director of Sports, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh and assisted by India Army, Aalo for successful conduct of the games.
MLA Adv. Kento Jini and  Tumpe Ete, ZPC West Siang District attended the closing ceremony of the sports meet.
