Aalo, Dec 23:  The 167th birthday anniversary of Sri Sri Ma Sarada was observed here at the Ramakrishna Mission on December 18 last with reverence in presence of 800 devotees, School Management Committee members, students, well-wishers and admirers.
Various programmes were organised in the Main Prayer Hall and elaborate puja & homa were performed by the sadhus & brahmacharis of the Mission accompanied by devotional songs by monks, staff and students. The programme started with vedic chanting and stotras by the monks followed by a lecture on the life and teachings of Sri Ma by the Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Swami Yogishwarananda. 
A photo exhibition on the life and teachings of Sri Ma was also arranged for the visitors.                 .... Page 2

In the evening, a special aarti was performed along with sankirtan and bhajans.
As a part of the occasion, 55 blankets were also distributed to the nearby villagers. DIPRO
