TAWANG, Dec 7: A series of awareness and school safety programmes were conducted in last few days in various schools and government institutions in Tawang district by the 12thBn of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Doimukh, in collaboration with District Disaster Management Authority, Tawang.
At Lungla Higher Secondary School the students and participants were given training on fire safety techniques and methods on search and rescue and first aid. Tsangpa Tashi, DDMO Tawang coordinated the entire programme.
The NDRF team also took active participation during celebration of 10th Maitree Diwas, conducted recently in Tawang.
