ITANAGAR, Mar 3: City BJP president Tarh Soping donated 20 ceiling fans to the community hall of AB Sector today.
Soping while addressing the gathering said that he visited the colony along with local MLA Techi Kaso during the inauguration on February 18 and felt the urgency of the requirement of ceiling fans. This donation is a fulfilment of his commitment, he said.
Besides urging local residents to protect and maintain the community hall he also appealed the senior citizens to guide the locals to make proper use of the community hall through celebration of festivals, meetings and awareness programmes.
AB Sector Welfare Society President RC Tassar, Vice President Kuli Mangam, General Secretary Takar Lino, BLC President Pagmir Tagia and others were present during the programme.
