PASIGHAT, Jul 28: 80th CRPF Raising Day was observed in the G/186 BN CRPF Pasighat (ACP) on Saturday night with a cultural programme.
Gracing the occasion V. S. Sharma, DIGP (OPS) Dibrugarh lighted the lamp which was also attended by Commandant CRPF 186 Bn.  Rajiv Kumar and Superintendent of Police,  East Siang Prashant Gautam and many others.
During the night colourful cultural night was also organized where CRPF jawans participated with huge enthusiasm besides special traditional dance items from students from various schools. 
Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty starrer “Sandese aate hain humein tadpaate hain to chitthi aati hai to poochh jaati hai” from film ‘Border’ and film Sholey’s “Kitne Aadmi the” of Gabbar Singh performances from CRPF jawans were major attractions of the night.
DIGP Sharma spoke on the role of G/186 CRPF and motivated the jawans to be ready for any service and also for civil service at the time of need.
