Welcome initiative

Dear Editor

Through your esteemed daily, I would like to express my alliance over the online version of registration system initiated by the parental recruitment body of the state, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service commission (APPSC) for the recruitment of Junior Engineers in various engineering department of the state. Better late than never, the online submission of application will give immense pleasure and relax to the aspiring candidates in submitting their online applications. Erstwhile, the aspirants used to face untold misery in filling up forms, following submitting the same and in spite of that; submitted application was often rejected due to minor mistakes. But as of now, the online system has update systems; one can login anytime for correction.

It would be unjust, if Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Pema Khandu is not acknowledge for his preeminent walk – on for conferring responsibilities to the APPSC for recruitment of Junior Engineers. The initiative taken by Hon’ble Chief Minister may be humble but it is a giant leap for the conglomeration of unemployed engineers of the Arunachal Pradesh.

I believe, under the leadership of present Hon’ble Chief Minister, the justice have been served to the deserving and hardworking aspirants. I pray for the success of those untiring aspirants, who have sacrificed everything to crack the Junior Engineer examinations. Today we need quality engineers rather than engineers who are longing for March endings. We need engineers, who love roads and bridges more than mansion. We need engineers who are not only excellent in calculation but also in supervision. Needless to repeat, the growth of tourism in Arunachal Pradesh is directly proportional to the quality of roads and other infrastructures. The tourism sector has high potential for both revenue and employment generation.

The right person on right chair will not only look after department affairs but will also look into the lifestyles of public to improve and support. Most of us consider the APPSC as temple of justice for our hard work. I do hope the commission will never disappoint aspirants by quenching their faith.

Yours,

Yumlam Bai

Former President,

Arunachal Unemployed Engineers’ Association (AUEA)
