ITANAGAR, Nov 2:Hundreds took part in a mass protest rally organized here in the state capital on Thursday against the killing of ABVP members in Kerala organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) state unit.

Holding banners, the participating ABVP members during the rally chanted slogans against the atrocities and killing of their members in Kerala.

Addressing the gathering, State Secretary, ABVP, Jakap Lukham demanded thorough investigation by CBI and described the killing of its members as human right violation.

He also disclosed they are soon going to travel to Kerala to join the massive protest against the Left front government scheduled in Thiruvananthapuram on November 11 next.

Similar rallies were also organized by ABVP Pasighat unit and Namsai unit at their jurisdiction, wherein they conducted signature campaign among the student community and later submitted a letter seeking justice addressed to the President of India through their respective Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
